CARBON SEQUESTRATION AND CARBON TRADING
How it works
As your forest grows it fixes carbon in its woody biomass. We can measure the amount of carbon fixed by measuring the growing trees at regular levels. Based on the amount of growth between measurements we can apply for New Zealand Units (NZUs) from the government. (One NZU = one tonne of carbon). NZU‘s can be sold directly to emitters or daily in two online markets.
